Perplexity setup
Connect Perplexity to Kalshi MCP.
Add a remote connector in Perplexity to research Kalshi markets, investigate rules, and use portfolio and order tools with your own Kalshi account.
Custom remote connectors require Perplexity Pro, Max, or Enterprise. Organization members may need an admin to allow custom connectors.
https://kalshi-mcp.com /api/mcp- Open Account settings → Connectors, select + Custom connector, and choose Remote.
- Name the connector Kalshi MCP, paste the connection URL above, choose OAuth and Streamable HTTP, check the acknowledgement, and select Add.
- Open the connector card to sign in to your own Kalshi MCP account and enable the connection.

Your Kalshi MCP plan decides which tools the server runs. Every new account starts on Free.

- Basic
- Adds your Kalshi account — view your portfolio and place orders with your own API keys — plus a monthly call allotment and a longer history window. Starts with a 7-day free trial.
- Pro
- Adds order groups, the realized-gains CSV export, and far higher limits across calls, research, and trading.
- Max

Exact allotments, history windows, and prices are on the pricing page.
Add your Kalshi API keys
Portfolio and trading run on the paid plans. Add your Kalshi API Key ID and private key in the dashboard — read-only permissions to view your portfolio, trading permissions to place orders. Credentials are encrypted and never pass through Perplexity.
