- Open Plugins, select +, give the plugin a name, paste the connection URL above as the Server URL, keep Authentication on OAuth, tick the acknowledgement, and select Create.
- Sign in to your Kalshi MCP account when ChatGPT prompts you. In a new chat, choose Developer mode from the + menu and select the plugin.

Portfolio and trading run on the paid plans. Generate an API key in Kalshi Settings, then add it in the dashboard — a read-only key to view your portfolio, a trading key to place orders. Your keys are encrypted and stay server-side.
