Clearer independent-service wording across public pages
Public-facing copy now consistently states this is an independent, unofficial Kalshi MCP service, including the site footer, README, and AI-readable listing text, so setup guides and directory listings carry the same non-endorsement message.
Every page now shares as itself
Links to pricing, tools, setup and the changelog used to unfurl as the homepage — same title, same card, whichever page you sent. Every page now shares with its own title, and the per-client setup guides and the ChatGPT answer page have a preview card for the first time. The signed-in dashboard is no longer offered to search engines.
Version 1.0, and no tools you can't actually use
The server now reports itself as version 1.0. Two realtime data tools that no plan could call have been withdrawn from the tool list until that capability ships — so every tool your AI can see is one it can run, and the list your client shows is exactly the 48 in the public tool reference.
Every tool now declares whether it can change anything
Every tool your AI can call is now labelled read-only or a write, so your client can tell the difference between looking something up and placing an order — and ask you before the ones that move money. There's also a new straight-answer page on what ChatGPT can and can't actually do with a Kalshi account, including the two settings that break most setups. In-chat charts now fetch fresh data once when requested, batch event history efficiently, show when it was read, and render or replay without a second data request. The homepage now rotates built-in market examples instead of exposing a public live-data feed.
A public changelog, real share cards, and clearer pricing
This page launched — everything shipped, in one place. Links now unfurl with a proper share card and favicon, the site picked up its typeface, the homepage answers the free-trial question up front, and /pricing gained straight answers on overage math and billing.
V2 order placement + stronger account isolation
Order placement moved to Kalshi's V2 order endpoint, and per-user isolation was hardened — every account talks to Kalshi through its own dedicated client, never a shared one.
Cost basis and break-even on every position
The portfolio view now joins your positions with fills and fees — cost basis, break-even price, and current mark on every position, both in the data your AI reads and in the in-chat portfolio app.
Public launch
Sign-up opened to everyone. Terms and Privacy went live, support email started routing to a human, charts got sturdier across many-bracket events, and the tool surface was aligned field-by-field with the official Kalshi API.
